About Just Get Active Our mission

We’re Just Get Active – an initiative set up by Just, one of the UK’s leading providers of retirement financial solutions.

Now, with Just Get Active, we’re moving beyond money and encouraging older adults to get the most out of life in social, physical, and mental ways too.

We believe a key formula for better fitness in later life lies in walking sports. It’s the walking version of your favourite sports, from football to netball to rugby (and more!) – but at your pace.

Right now we’re focusing on Warwickshire and the surrounding areas (including Coventry, Bromsgrove and Solihull), working with regional walking sports organisers to promote sport opportunities for older adults. But wherever you are in the country, we hope this initiative will inspire you to get active in a new way today!

That’s why our site has everything you need to get or stay active in your later years – including information about the many different kinds of walking sports you could get involved in, inspiring blogs and videos with real-life stories of encouragement, and an activity finder which tells you about walking sport opportunities in and around Warwickshire, Coventry, Bromsgrove and Solihull.
